All AP Students must first have completed 3 years of Visual Art.
All AP Drawing Students must complete 12 pages of an investigation of a passion that they choose. This investigation is completed in a sketchbook that contains not only a series of drawings but writings as well. It is an investigation into a passion that is played out in drawing and then in writing to describe the image and direction of the pursuit. One page of investigation must be completed each week. The class gives a critique of each student’s work for a total of four times during the schol year.
All AP Students must complete 7 finished works of art that represent the final outcome of their 12 pages of investigation.
